Fireworks on 9/4/21

It has come to our attention that that township has again cancelled fireworks previously scheduled. It has NOTHING to do with the high school addition. Per the local and state fire marshals, there is still adequate space at the school to hold these. However, the safety concern is that there are no fire department services that are available for fire suppression services at this time. Independent Fire Company No.1 always had a minimum of 2 engines and a ladder on scene during our July 4th celebrations in previous years. Please address your feelings on this issue to your township council members.
