Serving Maple Shade, NJ Since 1912
The Maple Shade Fire Department is a completely volunteer department serving a community of 20,000 residents. The township is 3.2 square miles situated in western Burlington County. The demographics of Maple Shade include residential single-family homes, numerous garden apartments, commercial businesses and light industry. US highways Rt. 73 & Rt. 38 pass through the town, Maple Shade Fire Department responds to an average of 620 emergency calls a year. This number does not include any EMS services.

Monday, December 9, 2013  CHANGE IN SCHEDULE FOR SANTA! Due to the snowstorm they are calling for on Tuesday, MSFD has decided to keep Santa warm and reschedule his trip around the other side of town. Santa will now make his trek on the NORTH SIDE of town this Thursday 12/12!! Start time is approximately 6pm.

Wednesday, December 4, 2013   MSFD is looking for those who have what it takes to become a Firefighter. If you are a motivated, proud and determined individual, then this is a job for you! After all, it is the greatest profession in the world!! We are 100% volunteer and need new members to help take our 100 year old department into the future. All training and equipment will be provided.

100th Anniversary Parade a great success!

Sunday, May 5, 2013  Words cannot express the gratitude we would like to extend to each and every person and organizations that came out and supported our 100th Anniversary parade and celebration yesterday!! All we can say is WOW, what a day!! the weather was beautiful and we are pretty confident fun was had by all.
This special day was 100 years in the making and over 2 years of planning and organizing to ensure this was a perfect day.....which in our eyes, it was.
God Bless each and every one of you and we will be there serving the citizens of Maple Shade when that bell rings for many more years to come.



Maple Shade Fire Department 100th Anniversary

Saturday, May 4, 2013  The day has arrived! Preparations are done, trucks are waxed and uniforms pressed. Today, the Maple Shade Fire Department proudly celebrates it's 100th Anniversary with a grand parade and celebration.
Please join us beginning at 1pm and share in the rich history and legacy of our department. We look forward to seeing each and every one of you today and WE thank YOU for supporting us over the past century. As an all volunteer department we could not do what we do without the undying support of the residents of Maple Shade!

Parade and Judging Information

  • The judging and registration will be at the Maple Shade High School 180 Frederick Ave between 9:00am & 11:00am.
  • If your company is not being judged then please  line up on West Front St and Clinton ave at 11:30am

    Beef and Beer right around the corner!!

    Sunday, January 6, 2013  Happy New Year everyone. We hope that 2013 is starting off as exciting for you as it is for us here at MSFD!!
    On Saturday February 16th from 7p-12a we will be hosting a Beef and Beer at the MSFD Hall in support of our 100th Anniversary Parade this May!! Tickets will be $30 per person or $50 per couple. We are also looking for local business' to either donate something for our Chinese auction and/or be a table sponsor which is $100.

    Saturday, November 3, 2012  TODAY, Saturday 11/3, please help those affected down the shore by Hurricane Sandy and bring donations of food and clothing from 10:00a - 11:00a to a special drop off location at the Moorestown Mall in the parking lot by Macy's on the Rt 38 side. Donations wil be delivered immediately and your help will be very much appreciated.

    Also, please keep an eye out locally as there are many other events like this. SO.....lend a helping hand and make a difference in RESTORING THE SHORE!!!




    Ladies Auxiliary Fall Festival

    Saturday, November 3, 2012  The Maple Shade Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary will be holding a Fall Festival on Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 9am to 3pm in the Maple Shade Fire Hall. They will have crafts, new merchandise, party reps, food and more!!
